Cavs are in the hole

May 21, 2009

Cavaliers coach Mike Brown had a blank expression on his face tonight after the 107-106 loss to the Orlando Magic.  Similar to George Karl’s reaction after his Denver Nuggets handed the Lakers game one.  Both coaches saw their teams control the game and then just have it taken from them.  At least Denver was on the road and was not expected to win game one.  The Cavs have now lost three out of four to the Magic (2 out of 3 in the regular season), and have dug themselves into a hole.  The Magic now have home court advantage, as well as the man power to beat the Cavs.  Rashard Lewis and Hedo Turkoglu combined for 26 points in the second half last night.  Dwight Howard will give you his 20 and 20 almost every single night (he had 30 points tonight), but when Lewis and Turkoglu are hitting their outsides shots, the Magic are nearly unstoppable.  A force in the middle with Dwight Howard, and an array of great shooters in Hedo Turkoglu, Rashard Lewis, and Rafer Alston.  This series has the makings for a game 7, but the Magic would like to close the deal in 6.  Winning at Cleveland a second time will be a tough task for Orlando.

Cavs win the series.. Blow out in game 2… Lakers are going to going to win it all though as I have been saying. Lebron best player in the world. But he cant beat the lakers without big men to stop gasol bynum and odom. Lakers will Beat the Cavs in 5 in the finals.
