Its a sprint and a marathon
Many people describe a start up business as running in a marathon. Lately I have been looking at the competitive nature in the industry that I am a part of. In my opinion, the foreseeable future is an all out sprint to the finish line. Information is thrown our way in record speed, and our brains have to weed out the clutter while simultaneously honing in on the important facts. As we are trying to build up a brand in a city landscape it has become apparent that the only way to succeed is by being in as many places as once. Physically that is obviously impossible, as human cloning has yet to come to fruition. However, in the digital stratosphere, and in mass media you can be a spider with eight legs. The arduous task that I face everyday is trying to figure out the most efficient way to spend our money and time on a day to day basis. Milehighmenus.com is a huge science experiment, and we are in the lab trying to stir up different formulas that will light a fire, figuratively speaking of course. My first year and a half here was spent trying to understand the Denver culture, and grasp the landscape. We are starting to see a lot of momentum with our brand identity taking shape. Can’t wait to see how this summer goes….TIME TO PLAY THE GAME!
